Farming as in grinding.
Go to a specific map, but yeah, I'm pretty sure since everyone is level 160 inferna is the best spot for you. It's like a loot from mobs. You kill them and sometime they drop, like Wonderland Stones, Chroma beads in Inferna, but as I mentioned in the tutorial long ago, every normal monster drops them. Sometimes even butterflies in sunstream can drop them, although, the best drop rate is in Inferna. As long as you are lvl160, in case u choose to farm with unasc toon, go Shura. =)

Lvl 160 ascended gets 30 Monkey coins on 4 hours
lvl150 non ascended gets 60 coins on 4 hours.

Actually the only way for 150's to get the mcp faster is to bot in IC, since when u hit 160 IC mobs are green for you and just by that u know drops will be lower than it were before Sunstrider update/lower level, so my advice is for every toon that is lvl160 to bot in inferna on last mobs, they have a pretty decent drop rate, of everything =)

Sorry for the perhaps dumb question but in your tutorial (which is totally awesome by the way) you mention that you can get monkey coins from farming, farming what exactly? The other ways of getting them I think I understood, this is the only one I can't seem of understanding

Monkey coins drop in all major maps its just based on your level...Example if your 160 asc you wont get drops from shura..but you will from Inferna for example

Very good guide and + karma for you. I'd like to point out that the last time I checked Cursed in Shura it didn't drop 100 gold per kill, that drop has been removed.
